We seek to generate new knowledge and insights with regard to how grass-dominated ecosystems are responding to a changing climate as well as other environmental changes. Our research focuses on plants, with a goal of understanding ecological patterns and processes from the leaf to the ecosystem level. We use field experiments and long-term observational data to understand the ecological impacts of global change. Areas of interest: plant ecophysiology, ecosystem ecology, climate change, long-term ecological research.
